Dietz Dolls Propaganda Pinup Poster Series
"Join The WAC Now!"
- Featuring model Rachel - © Britt Dietz -

Propaganda Pinup Poster series pinup featuring Rachel and a call to join the WACs! The Women's Army Corps (WAC) was established in 1942 as the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps but it wasn't until 1943 that the WACs were converted to full service and taking the name we all know. With thousands of jobs that could easily be done by women during the war in order to (as the slogan goes) 'Free a man to fight the war,' the call when out throughout America for those who weren't working in the factories to come join the WAC. Working in both theaters of the war, WACs were only one of several women service groups with each branch of the military having their own version. The Navy had WAVES, the Marines Corps had the Women's Reserve, and the Coast Guard had SPARS. The WACs were disbanded in 1978 as women became more integrated into the US military.

The Propaganda Pinup Poster series are recreation twists on the classic propaganda posters of World War 2 featuring military Pinups. These posters look great printed large sized and framed on any wall!
