"Cowgirl in White"
- Featuring model Kayla - © Britt Dietz -

Airbrushed style pinup photo featuring Kayla in this nod to Earl Moran's 1948 calendar cowgirl pinup! Earl Moran was a pinup and glamour artist of the 1930s through 1950s. In 1932 Moran's pinup work was selected to be used in Brown & Bigelow calendars which was produced each year through the 1940s. His biggest climb to fame came from a 'Speaking of Pictures' feature in LIFE magazine in 1940 which catapulted him to high on the pinup artist list with the likes of George Petty and Alberto Vargas. In 1941 his work began to be featured in popular men's magazines of the time such as Flirt, Wing, Beauty Parade, and Giggles. One of the most notable models to work with Moran was a young Norma Jean Dougherty (Marilyn Monroe) who became fast friends with the artist and would model for him for four years. Around 1955, Moran retired from the pinup work focusing on more fine-art paintings until 1982.

Celebrating the golden age of pinups during the 1940s, these classic pinups have been carefully shot and finished to mimic the classic style made famous by artists such as George Petty and Alberto Vargas. Fun and often downright goofy, these pinups portray the girl next door and her adventures through the 1940s. Prints in many different sizes are available!
