Dietz Dolls Military Pinup Series
"Singing Samantha"
- Featuring model Samantha - © Britt Dietz -

The United Service Organization (USO) shows were first started in 1941 during World War 2 as an answer to President Roosevelt's plea for morale booster programs for the troops in the war. The travelling USO 'Camp Show' was born bringing top name actors, comedians, musicians, singers, etc to the troops in both theaters of the war. USO clubs were opened with live music for the soldiers to relax and dance the night away to get a taste of home away from home or watch a movie with free Coffee and refreshments. The morale boost that these USO centers and shows provided the troops is unmeasureable giving them a pause from the horrors of war to remind them of home and keep their spirits up. Disbanded in 1947 after the war, the USO was restarted during the following Korean War and exists even today still providing shows and centers for the troops spread out throughout the world.

The Dietz Dolls Military Pinup series celebrates the rich history of the United States Military during World War 2 with the Army, Navy, Army Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Using authentic uniforms and equipment, this series is perfect for the military fan to hang framed on their wall!
