Featuring Elizabeth and the North American B-25J Mitchell bomber - With the first flight in late 1940, the B-25 Mitchell bomber soared into service and lead the first charge against Tokyo with the famed Doolittle Raid in April of 1942. Well over 9,000 B-25s were built with it being used by 23 different countries until the late 1970s! The B-25 was named after General Billy Mitchell who helped pioneer aviation in the US Military. It had a max speed of 272 mph and a range of over 1,300 miles.
