Dietz Dolls Propaganda Pinup Poster Series
"Enlist in the WAVES!"
- Featuring model Kelsey - © Britt Dietz -

The WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) were a part of the US Navy and much like the WAC/SPARS counterparts very crucial to the war effort. Most of their duties were limited to home front clerical work clearing men to leave those jobs and fight in the war. Some WAVES, however, carried jobs in aviation for the Navy and even Medical, Intelligence, and more. Started in July of 1942, the WAVES were only decommissioned following the Women's Armed Services Integration Act in June of 1948... however the WAVES name lasted for many years after.

The Propaganda Pinup Poster series are recreation twists on the classic propaganda posters of World War 2 featuring military Pinups. These posters look great printed large sized and framed on any wall!
