Dietz Dolls Military Pinup Series
"D-Day Tribute"
- Featuring model Kayla - © Britt Dietz -

A tribute to the brave men who stormed the beaches on 1944 (June 6) 70 years ago during Operation Overlord, more commonly known as D-Day. The allied invasion of occupied France was the largest (at the time) invasion force in the history of mankind. With over 5,000 ships and over 14,600 aircraft supporting the invasion, the invasion turned the tide of the European War bringing in 326,547 troops and 54,186 vehicles making a second front against the German expansion of Europe. Nearly 4,500 men were lost during D-Day, mainly at Omaha Beach. Here is Kayla wearing some of the uniform items that these soldiers would have carried onto the beach in this D-Day Tribute.

The Dietz Dolls Military Pinup series celebrates the rich history of the United States Military during World War 2 with the Army, Navy, Army Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Using authentic uniforms and equipment, this series is perfect for the military fan to hang framed on their wall!
